Obituary
Zina D McTaw was born to the late Morris McTaw Sr. and Delores McTaw on October 4 th , 1963 on
Miami Beach, Florida at Mount Sinai Hospital. Zina was the 5 th out of eight siblings and the baby girl of
the McTaw clan.
Zina was the most loving and caring person to know and was always giving of herself to put a smile on
others faces. She was affectionately known as Zina D and had the most beautiful smile that would light
up the room. Her voice was melodious and full with refreshing anointing. As a child Zina was taught
that Jesus is loved and that He loved her. She accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of
the late Bishop Chenault Sr. and knew that only God was who she should trust in. Zina was baptized and
gave her all at everything she would do for the kingdom. She was an anointed vessel that wanted to be
pleasing in the eyesight of God. While at Liberty Fellowship Church of God Zina served on the Jr. Usher
Board, A Counselor for the Blue Bells Girls Auxiliary, she song with the Refreshing Rain Group and
directed the Evangelettes Choir and the Mass Choir. She also directed for the Youth Choir. Zina had a
melodious anointed voice as she would sing with a smile sounding like the birds in harmony. She was
the life of the party and no matter where she went she would light up the room with her smile and
dance.
Education
Zina attended MDCPS where she graduated from Miami Jackson Senior High with Class of 1981. She
was a member of the Marching Band and during her time she became the Clarinet Section Leader and
respectfully served her section proudly.
