Jody Antrone Robbins, affectionately known as JD, was born on November 8, 1970, in Miami, Florida, to the late Gwendolyn Phillips Jackson and Joe Robbins. He was lovingly raised by him stepfather, the late Robert Jackson.Jody's life was a shining testament to the transformative power of faith and perseverance. Educated in the Miami Dade County Public School system, Jody embraced Christ as his lord and savior in the early 90's at Bible Baptist Church under the guidance of Pastor Cleo Albury. As he surrendered to God's will, Jody flourished as a young entrepreneur and owner of Divine Shine Mobile Car Care Detailing Services, serving all of Miami Dade County with excellence and dedication, earning special recognition from Miami Children's Hospital. Jody's passion for ministry led him to pursue divinity school and minister at local prisons and jails, spreading hope and redemption. His love for football inspired him to become a coach and referee, nurturing young lives until his health began to decline. On March 30, 2025, God called Jody home, reuniting him with his beloved sister Shadon Jackson and loving mother Gwendolyn Phillips Jackson. Jody's legacy continues to inspire through his brother Calvin Robbins, three daughters Eboni Johnson, Aniyah Johnson, and Prosperity Robbins, two sons Jody Jr and Jeremiah Robbins, godson Antwone Levros, grandchildren Lamaria, Lazariah, Danaria, Milord Jr, Malik (deceased), Messiah, Makhi, Ma’Khiyla, and Chosen, great-grandchildren Jaliyah, Alaia, and a host of aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
